Airport Transportation Update
Many cities, like Grand Rapids, are suffering from a lack of taxi cabs and ride share vehicles. As a result, Experience Grand Rapids (the Grand Rapids Convention & Visitors Bureau), has partnered with Destination Consultants to provide affordable transportation to/from the airport and the Amway Grand Hotel.
The one-way fee is $15, and the motor coaches pick up and drop off at the Lyon Street entrance of the Amway Grand Hotel. Motorcoaches depart every hour, on the hour. To reserve your seat at the airport, look for the Experience Grand Rapids Visitor Information Desk in Baggage Claim. A staff person will also be available to assist you at the Amway Grand (Lyon Street Entrance) during the operating hours below.
Transportation service is available as follows:

ArtPrize Returns during the SPE Thermoforming Conference®!
ArtPrize® is an open, independently organized international art competition which takes place in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It celebrates artists working in all mediums from anywhere in the world, and is open to any creative with an artwork to enter and a venue willing to host it.
For 18 days, art is exhibited throughout the city in public parks and museums, in galleries and vacant storefronts, in bars and on bridges. ArtPrize awards $450,000 directly to artists, through grants to support their ambitious work and through prizes which the public decides through the ArtPrize mobile app.
Since its inception in 2009, millions have participated in ArtPrize, displaying their work, opening their spaces to artists and visitors from around the world, and sparking countless conversations about what art is and why it matters.
If you attended the 2012 Conference in Grand Rapids, this is the same unique and fascinating event! Learn more about ArtPrize at https://www.artprize.org.
